Custom Shadow box

A frame was selected to best display the antique painting on delicate hand-made paper in spite of the fact that it did not have enough depth to allow for a float on a custom background. So a layer was added to the frame to create the proper depth. The artwork was the float mounted on the background and risers were created to match the background thereby completing a sealed box with an ultra transparent glazing to finish the frame.
